I was first attracted to his ”marlboro series“ where he re-photographed and blew up marlboro cigarette ad imagery. His recent book is wonderful.

I stumbled into Mr. Shore's show in Chelsea and didn't leave for an hour. Many of the photos are of banal subject matter, like used car lots, but the composition and especially the highly saturated colors make for moving work.

Unbelievably good. The filmmakers combine documentary, drama and comic strip illustration in this engrossing film.
