“Kid A” is a beautiful album about…I think, being lonely, but I really love the “Britpop” Radiohead exemplified by ‘The Bends’ and ‘Pablo Honey’. – Hillman

We’re lucky to live in NYC, where Ms. Scher’s amazing posters appear on walls, buildings, and billboards all around us. I recently saw her speak at the HOW Conference, loved her presentation…her work is beautiful. – Hillman
“The Graduate” : Title Sequence
Film
One of the best title sequences ever. No fancy text moves, no eye candy…just a beautiful emotive sequence that sets the tone for the movie. I can watch it over and over…and do. (DVD)
Cinematographer
Mr. Kovaks has a long list of great movies he has shot, but the one that really stands out in my opinion is ‘Five Easy Pieces’, directed by Bob Rafelson and starring Jack Nicholson. Simply Beautiful…Every shot.
American Photographer
Mr. Lorca di Corcia recently had a show at a gallery in downtown NYC and it was amazing. What he does is set lights up on fire escapes or store awnings…hidden…then waits and snaps shots of strangers walking by, lost in thought, yet illuminated as if they were on some strange Hollywood set.
Pop Band
I love these guys…the fact that they are attached to the design collective Tomato, is even more appealing. – Hillman
